Overview
The Enterprise Act 2016 has introduced reforms to apprenticeships programmes in the public sector. This year, the government set an ambitious target of 2.3% for apprenticeships in public sector bodies in England. Organisations must therefore ensure they have the capability to overcome the challenges posed by successful implementation.
In order adapt to the reforms and maximise the benefits of the apprenticeships levy, organisations must develop a programme that produces quality, long term staff that meet the demands of the workforce.
On this Developing Quality Apprenticeships in the Public Sector course delegates will learn how to develop effective apprenticeships programmes, whilst remaining sustainable, maximising their return on investment and meeting the new target.
Through best practice case studies and interactive workshops, delegates will explore new apprenticeship funding opportunities, learn how to maximise retention and progression of apprentices and produce a personalised action plan for next steps in implementation.
