Becoming a Multi Academy Trust (MAT) can help schools achieve better attainment for pupils, stronger financial status and more flexible staffing and property resources.

With over 50% of academies already in formal partnerships and the Government encouraging isolated academies to join trusts, it is now vital to explore effective strategies for MAT conversion and identify key partners to establish and growing a successful Multi Academy Trust.

This practical course, chaired by Mark Blois, National Leader of Governance at the National College for Teaching and Leadership, will help you create an action plan to develop and grow a successful MAT.

In just one day, delegates will learn from real life examples to effectively manage centralised resources and systems and take away winning strategies for establishing a strong governance and leadership structure across the Trust.
