Overview

The public sector holds large volumes of important data, from patient records to local government data like waste collection, procurement, planning applications and social care.

With access to such huge volumes of information, and the right skills and knowledge, you can utilise the data to make more effective decisions and improve service delivery in your organisation.

This Utilise Data Analytics to Make Better Decisions training course gives you the necessary tools and skills to identify what data to use to inform a policy recommendation, improve the performance of a project, and streamline outdated processes.

Through interactive workshops, case-studies and the use of laptops, practice data analytics on various public sector datasets using Excel. Learn how to use free and accessible data analytics tools, summarising results to make decisions supported by your data.
