Overview

Change initiatives often fall at the first hurdle as business cases fail to convince senior management of the return on investment.

Creating effective business cases and spending proposals is critical to securing funding and management buy-in. It is important, therefore, that individuals have the opportunity to develop their capabilities in creating, reviewing and adapting effective business cases.

To avoid wasting time on costly and ineffective projects, it is also important that those responsible for scrutinising business cases, recognise the aspirational, but achievable and realistic objectives of any proposal.

This two and a half-day course covers the innovative certification by APMG and is based on the ‘Five Case Model’ – the UK’ government’s best practice approach to developing spending proposals and enabling effective business decisions. The course provides a step-by-step guide to developing a business case through a systematic and objective approach.

Leave our course fully qualified at Better Business Case Foundation Level and confident in your ability to plan, manage and deliver better business cases.

This course is aimed at professionals with responsibility for the successful delivery of programmes and projects or tasked with developing a business case for investment.
