Introducing Jonathan Bottomer
Jonathan is a Certified Management Consultant, Trainer and a member of the Institute of Business Consulting (an organisation within the Chartered Management Institute), the professional body for Business Consultants.
He currently works as a Consultant at the Department for Work and Pensions (DWP). Jonathan specialises in helping local authorities (and DWP’s Agencies) improve their effectiveness and efficiency of the administration of Social Security Benefits.
Jonathan is responsible for leading a team in DWP providing a performance management and consultancy service for the 350 local authorities in England, Scotland and Wales. The team comprises of qualified consultants who have many years of experience and expertise of working with central and local government to deliver sustainable improvements in performance.
His team identifies and shares good practice and encourages their clients to be innovative and promote the use of available services and technology, helping them make best use of their resources to deliver an improved customer experience. They do this using the full range of business consultancy tools and techniques, to review the delivery of key local services and over many years they have successfully helped to drive tangible and sustainable improvements.
