Dr Hayley Lewis is an award-winning psychologist with more than 20 years’ experience in the field of organisational and business psychology. As a consultant, Hayley offers a unique combination of first-hand experience of leading teams in high-pressure environments with a deep understanding of the science of behaviour in the workplace.
Before setting up her own business, Hayley spent 11 years leading various local government services, such as organisational development; ICT strategy; customer services; communications, PR, and digital transformation. During this time, she won national recognition for her work on leadership development and culture change, as well as for leading critical resident services in a crisis. Prior to this, Hayley spent eight years at the BBC where she was an organisational psychologist working on what was referred to by Harvard Business School as the world’s most ambitious and largest-ever culture change programme.
Hayley is a lecturer at several UK universities on MSc Organisational and Business Psychology programmes. Her specialist topics are organisational culture, leadership and management behaviour and building high-performance teams.
Hayley is a Chartered Psychologist, Registered Occupational Psychologist, Certified Principal Business Psychologist, Associate Fellow of the British Psychological Society and Fellow of the RSA. She is passionate about sharing knowledge with managers, leaders and practitioners and does this via her popular daily tips and insights on LinkedIn In 2021, Hayley was recognised as one of the most influential thinkers in HR, by HR Magazine.
