Dr James Palfreman-Kay

Equality, Diversity and Inclusion Practitioner

James is an Equality, Diversity and Inclusion (EDI) practitioner, who has over 20 years’ experience of working in the equalities within the public sector.

During this time he has led specific services to support disabled students and provided information, advice and guidance on EDI to employees, students and the wider community. He has published on topics such as dyslexia, mental health and hate crime.

In addition, James has led the National Association of Disability practitioners, which worked with the Department of Education and the Disability Rights Commission, and sat on the board for Healthwatch Dorset, holding the Equalities role. Currently, James is acting in an advisory role for Weldmar Hospice care.
