Make an Impact With Your Data

Chaired by
Alan Rutter

Sorry, we don’t have any upcoming dates available for individuals.

All of our training courses can be tailored specifically for your team or organisation and presented at your offices, at another suitable location or virtually.

Overview

Data is information that can often be hard to digest. To help your audience understand and engage with your data, connect them to it through storytelling.

You might be an expert in the data and what that information has to offer, but your audience often isn’t. Our Telling Stories with Data course will teach you simple techniques to improve your communication skills, so that you can present your data with maximum impact to drive actions and influence change.

Through real-world examples and expert advice, leave the day with the confidence to craft any complex data into a compelling, impactful story that will drive action.

What Previous Delegates Have Said:

  • "Alan was amazing, the course was extremely engaging. I'm not a 'techy' or 'data' person myself although to my demise it is an unavoidable part of my role. Alan's delivery kept me engaged all the way I feel like I've come out at the other end of the spectrum and want to pursue a career in data science! 100% recommend."
    - Senior LD Commissioner, London Borough of Tower Hamlets

  • "Alan was a great trainer and made this a really enjoyable course. There were so many examples of data and visualisations which helped bring the topic to life. I would have spent many more hours listening and engaging."
    - Environment Agency

  • "The pace and delivery was engaging and quality of content excellent. I now feel better equipped and inspired to look at our organisations data and audiences in a fresh way."
    - Customer Services and Business Manager Bereavement Services, London Borough of Havering
