Handling reports and documents that contain distressing information, such as serious crimes or traumatic situations, may lead professionals to experience vicarious trauma.

Continuous exposure to traumatic experiences can severely impact your emotional and psychological well-being, leading to burnout, chronic fatigue, and severe anxiety, affecting both mental and physical health.  

Addressing these issues through early intervention and support is crucial to professionals who deal with such disturbing information.
