Overview
The menopause is something that many women experience during their career, but don’t always receive the necessary support in the workplace.
As every woman’s experience with the menopause is different, our Supporting Staff Through the Menopause course is designed to help those in HR and management positions raise greater awareness and embed a culture of support to help staff feel more motivated and confident as they navigate through this time.
You don’t need to be experts on the menopause. However, it is essential to have a good understanding on how you can assist and create a safe space to talk. Learn how to develop support networks and apply best practice from relevant public sector examples.
Gain a stronger understanding of the symptoms, engage better with menopausal staff and aid them with their motivation.
Leave the day with an action plan to improve your organisation’s assistance for menopausal staff.
Kate is a qualified executive coach and mentor (L7, Institute of Leadership and Management). She has 20 years senior leadership and management experience in local government, private sector and the UK civil service, working extensively with Boards, senior public sector policy and strategy leads, front-line practitioners and politicians. She has advised Secretaries of State on strategic policy direction, and led significant areas of policy reform in children’s services, child poverty and workless families policy.
Kate has a strong track record in learning and development and change management. She is an experienced facilitator, currently leading group coaching sessions with Thresholds Ltd to help participants build and practice the skills to succeed at interviews…
