Prof. Khawar Hameed is a digital transformation consultant.  He has 30 years of experience in academia and business.  His expertise is in the fields of digital innovation & transformation, information systems, and Higher Education programme development & management in computing.

He has worked on the concept development and delivery of a range of pioneering projects focusing on mobile technology for business, the creation of application development and testing facilities for mobile systems, large-scale regional sub-cluster programmes in mobile and wireless technologies, and many high-impact cross-sector projects that leverage digital capability.

As an independent consultant, he diagnoses and develops areas of digital intervention across business sectors to create impact and value – helping organisations leverage digital technologies to streamline operations, improve customer experiences, and stay competitive.

He is a Fellow of the British Computer Society a Senior Fellow of the Higher Education Academy and Visiting Professor of Digital Transformation at the Faculty of Computing, Engineering and Built Environment at Birmingham City University.
